Meet Phil Chigos

Since moving to San Anselmo in 2017, Philip Chigos and his wife have raised their three children, built four businesses and operated two in-town properties, and held community service roles to build their home community.

Philip says his greatest role is that of an ever-present and attentive father. That responsibility shapes how he approaches every other commitment: he listens carefully, plans for the future, and follows through.

Philip’s preparation for San Anselmo’s Town Council includes:

• Running four businesses with his wife, where he manages budgets, weighs trade-offs, and makes decisions with real consequences.
• Overseeing two family-owned properties on San Anselmo Avenue, and others nearby.
• Working directly with San Anselmo’s residents and local businesses, tenants, and property owners.
• Serving as Treasurer on the Board of the San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce.

Over years these roles have given Philip a deep understanding of how San Anselmo works. He sees the energy, talent and beauty of our town, and with the support of fellow community leaders is taking the natural next step in his commitment to the community he and his family call home.
